Charlotte (1946) was born and raised in Oslo. She was deeply about music during her childhood, which naturally led her into the music course at Hartvig Nissen High School. Completing senior high, however, she decided to go to studies in Physical Therapy. She worked 16 years mainly with psychosomatic physiotherapy, before she finally decided to leave her professional work as physiotherapist and turn to a three years Art Study at Oslo Tegne og Maleskole.

To work with pencil, charcoal and pastel chalks on paper became her way . The last ten years she has worked with mixed techniques on cotton paper. Her pictorial expression can be described as naive expressive and narrative

In the period 2000 – 2011 she studied Expressive Art Therapy in Oslo and Copenhagen and is certified coach within these methods.
